be more grateful to all of you for bringing the vibes! Looking forward to seeing you all in 2026 on the last weekend in August 🙂
Our Committee
The Capital to Coast is organised by a bunch of friendly trail runners. We are part of Canberra Runners, one of Canberra’s largest running groups. If you have ideas about the event, get in touch with us here.
Course Overview
Comprising nine stages from Canberra to the South Coast, the course takes in a mix of trail, fireroads and single track. Stages for the 2025 event are available here, including distance and elevation, along with GPX files.
Acknowledgement of Country
The Capital to Coast event and Canberra Runners acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Volunteers
Events like the Capital to Coast rely heavily on volunteers to make the event a success. Click here to view the different volunteering options on offer across each of the stages from the Capital to the Coast. It’s a great way to contribute to the running (haha, get it) of the event and can be a lot of fun as well!
